Another cool thing I found is those green bags they advertise on those infomercials. I don’t usually buy any of that stuff but I was desperate. I am the queen of buying fresh veggies and then throwing them away when I get too busy to make them in a day or two. The ones I bought are Debbie Meyer Green Bags.

They live up to the claim that they will keep your veggies fresh longer. Mine stayed good at least a week longer than usual. The only thing you really have to watch for is to make sure the produce is as dry as possible. Excess moisture renders them much less effective. That said, I got twenty bags for about ten bucks. They have 2 sizes and can be washed. I recycle mine all the time. I still throw stuff out, but not nearly in the quantities that I used to. If you are a queen like me, buy them. Your pocketbook will thank you.
